Jessica M. Forsyth, PhD is a licensed psychologist and Senior Associate at Robert T. Carter & Associates, an expert witness practice specializing in the assessment of racial trauma, where she has consulted on a variety of civil and criminal cases for 15 years. She has more than two decades of clinical experience with diverse populations including adjudicated youth, gifted students of Color, survivors of torture seeking asylum, and claimants seeking social security disability. She was an NIH-funded postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Healthful Behavior Change at NYU School of Medicine, where her research focused on racism-related coping and hypertension in the Black community. She is the co-founder and former Executive Director of the Harold Hunter Foundation.
