2024 Color of Mitigation

Hello, my name is Ashley Nabors. I'm a part of the Kent County of the Defender's Mitigation team. I have a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Baker College and a master's degree in legal studies with an emphasis on criminal justice from Arizona State University. I hope to meet like-minded individuals trying to change the biased justice system that we have come to know. I believe there are not enough people doing this vital work who are part of affected communities and understand community culture and its complexities. My hope is to gain new interview/report writing skills and build a strong professional network to blaze a new trail of leaders in this sector.
